Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • cups brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
  • 1 bag milk chocolate chips

Instructions
 

To Bake:

  • Preheat the oven to 365 degrees.
  • Melt your butter on low in a small saucepan. Let cool.
  • Whisk your dry ingredients together:
    flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt.
    Set aside
  • In a stand mixer, pour the melted butter in with your brown sugar and granulated sugar. Whisk.
  • Add in the eggs while the mixture is being stirred, one at a time.
  • Add in vanilla bean paste or extract.
  • Slowly combine your dry ingredients with your sugar mixture.
  • Once combined, fold in chocolate chips with a spatula.
  • Cover dough & let sit for 20 minutes.
  • Using an ice cream scooper, make dough balls into a palm-sized portion. Evenly spread cooking spray on a sheet. Place the dough balls in equally-spaced locations on the sheet.
  • Bake each sheet for 10-11 minutes, or until the edges are brown. REMINDER: Your cookies will continue to bake on the cookie sheet outside the oven.
  • Let cook on a cookie rack for 10 minutes.
